Scripture in Schools (SRE)

SRE teachers and assistants come from a variety of churches across Monaro.

SRE Lessons are taught from a prepared curriculum. SRE teachers needn't go it alone; there is training and support available.

You can prepare lessons together, team teach, share children's ministry resources, meet to pray before lessons or have a cuppa and debrief afterwards.

If God is calling you to SRE:

• check out the SRE teachers' reports at your church AGM
• ask an SRE teacher what's involved
• consider starting as an assistant: your presence in the classroom will be invaluable
• find out more from your minister

Prayer support for SRE is vital.

We need the Spirit of Jesus to prepare the way in every class, in every school.
