Bishop Mark conducts Confirmation Service

St Paul's, Cooma, was recently blessed to host Bishop Mark as he confirmed three of our parishioners into the Anglican Church. David, Amos and Zach were all welcomed in to the church by their fellow parishioners, after which a lovely morning tea was enjoyed by all. If you are interested or curious about what confirmation is, or what it means, please speak to our Locum Rector, the Rev'd Martin Christensen.

Celebrating 180 years of Worship on the Monaro

Christ Church Maneroo was the first church built in the region and recently celebrated its 180th anniversary to a packed congregation, many of whom were descendents of settlers buried in the graveyard. The celebrations centred on a special service presided over by the Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn, the Right Revered Mark Short, who also gave the address. Afterwards, attendees enjoyed morning tea at Christ Church followed by fellowship over soup and rolls at St Paul's church hall.
